The show is now just a week away. Bruce and I have everything prepped and we’re ready for set-up next Saturday morning.
Tim, the owner of SpaceTaste Gallery, is interested in displaying a selection of our ‘monster’ painting with the opening night to coincide with Elgin’s Nightmare on Chicago Street event.
Bruce had a gallery show at SpaceTaste last year, but we’re even more excited about this year because the new SpaceTaste location is on Chicago Street right next door to the Elgin Public House Restaurant & Pub.
Let’s hope the hoards of zombies that will shamble through SpaceTaste will appreciate our work. (I guess it largely depends on how badly their corneas have decomposed.)
Bruce and I are currently scheduled to have a gallery show at the Martini Room in Elgin starting on Wednesday, December 12th, 2012. The details are not yet listed on their site, but will be visible when their December calendar of events is posted here: http://www.martiniroomelgin.com/events–specials.html
This will be a show of our smaller paintings and will be priced at affordable prices for your last-minute holiday shopping.
For many years, I ran FineArtsGuild.com, a site devoted to the artwork of my friends and myself. The site originally launched in 1998 and I’m proud to say that the site often resided in the top ten google search results for ‘fine arts’ for the first few years. Over the past several years though, everyone has launched their own websites focusing specifically on their own work.
Unfortunately FineArtsGuild.com has gotten rather stale and will be going into hibernation for the foreseeable future. We’ll maintain a list to the former contributors on our links page and will add links to many talented artists we’ve met over the years.
